GDL Electrical Contractors Limited was founded in 2006 by Gary Lewsam as an independent electrical contractor serving the Lincolnshire area. Since then, the company has grown significantly and now provides services to clients nationwide.
Over the years, we have expanded our expertise and built a team of around 20 skilled staff, including qualified electricians, mechanical engineers, and apprentices.
Our knowledgeable and diverse workforce enables us to offer a complete range of electrical services across the Industrial, Agricultural, Commercial, and Domestic sectors.
As a full-service electrical contractor, we provide end-to-end solutions including design, installation, maintenance, inspection, and testing. We take great pride in the quality of our work, our efficient turnaround times, and our commitment to client satisfaction.

Gary founded GDL Electrical Contractors Limited in 2006 and has grown the business from a local contractor into a nationwide operation. With decades of industry experience, Gary remains actively involved in the business, maintaining strong relationships with clients and continuing to contribute on site when required.
General Manager
Edward oversees the day-to-day running of the business, managing job allocation, coordinating the engineering team, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and to the highest standard. A qualified and experienced electrician himself, Edward splits his time between the office and site, giving him a thorough understanding of every aspect of the operation.

Michael is a highly skilled engineer with expertise spanning all areas of electrical work. He specialises in the design and construction of bespoke PLC and HMI control panels, and is capable of tackling the most technically demanding projects across all sectors.

Callum is a versatile and experienced supervisor who plays a key role in the day-to-day management of the engineering team. Capable across all areas of electrical work, Callum steps up to cover operational management responsibilities when required, ensuring continuity and consistency across all ongoing projects.

Brandon leads on-site project delivery with a particular focus on maintenance contracts. Known for his professionalism and approachable manner, Brandon builds strong working relationships with clients and is a trusted point of contact on site. He works closely alongside Callum to ensure all projects are completed to the highest standard.

Abigail is the first point of contact for external enquiries, handling day-to-day requests from clients with a professional and friendly approach. She manages the company's invoicing process, ensuring customers receive accurate and timely documentation.

Kerry manages the financial administration of the business, including accounts, banking, bill payments, and company insurances. She also handles incoming customer calls, logging breakdown requests and ensuring they are passed on promptly for the team to action.
